How to Download from Rapidshare

1. To go to Rapidshare. click on the download link, in this case Sampler CD.  This will bring you to the Rapidshare Downloading Page.

2. On the Rapidshare Page, click on the 'Free User' button  For sample purposes, I have it circled with green below.

3. Page will transform to countdown timer for free user like so,

4.  Blue download button appears after countdown, ranging from 15 seconds to more than a minute for bigger files.  Click to start download process [see below]:

5.  After clicking on the download button, a small window appears prompting you to open or SAVE the file on your hard drive.  Choose SAVE.  Note: to find downloaded file easily, save it on your desktop for the meantime.

Above image is sample for Firefox browser.  Internet Explorer will give similar saving options.


6.  Press OK to save.  File in compressed RAR will begin to download to your desktop.


7. When download completes, find the file on your desktop or whichever folder you saved it.


8. Use WinRAR to uncompress or extract the mp files.
